I had a great time last week vacationing aboard the Enchanted Princess, cruising from New York City up the Atlantic coast to Halifax. It’s important to find time to get away, and sailing on board a ship with wonderful food and entertainment only makes the trip easier.
While on board, I had an opportunity to participate in the Voice of the Ocean – an at-sea version of the popular television show. Yes, there were coaches in rotating red chairs, but for me the real attraction was an opportunity to sing with the ship’s Show Band, as the final performances were not done to a a recording but with the live band on board the ship.
While I thoroughly enjoy singing with local orchestras, I realized this would be a great opportunity to sing a swing song with a real swing band – I hope you enjoy listening as much as I had singing Come Fly With Me.
