2025 has been such an exciting musical year. From new album releases to some truly unexpected viral moments, it’s gratifying to look back and see how far these songs have traveled. But while looking at numbers can be fun, the best part is knowing these tracks are finding a home in your videos and playlists.
Unfortunately, the detailed streaming data I receive lags by several months – that means that actual data for all of 2025 won’t be available for a little while. To help keep things grounded, I’ve collected streaming data for the 12 months from Oct 2024 through Sept 2025. So while I’m calling this “2025”, please understand that the timing is shifted just a bit.
“Golden Ticket” was the Golden Ticket
By far, the biggest surprise was the success of “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket” from Let’s Go to the Movies, which accounted for over 500,000 streams! Almost all of these came from Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat – showing that Michael DeLuca Music must be popular with the kids making viral videos. But even after taking this big hitter off the board, Social Media streams still played a big part, with Facebook and TikTok accounting for 80% of all streams for songs that weren’t “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket”.
While “Golden Ticket” was the runaway leader, the rest of the Top 10 is a wonderful mix of classics and new favorites. Did your favorite make the list?

A Milestone Year for Young at Heart
The current data period (Oct 2024 through Sept 2025) is particularly special because it captures the first full year of the album Young at Heart, which was released in Sept 2024. It has been so exciting watching these songs grow and find an audience over the past twelve months.
The response has been even better than I imagined, with an impressive three of the Top 10 songs of the year coming from this new album. While Let’s Go to the Movies is the strong Album of the Year based on streams of “Golden Ticket”, when that viral hit is excluded it still comes in a strong second (behind Young at Heart).
And although it’s still too early for detailed streaming data, early returns on Christmas Around the World (released Nov 2025) show that these songs are finding a home on your holiday playlists. I can’t wait to see how they resonate with you next year!
Where in the World?
Since the USA was the big driver for “Golden Ticket” streams, it’s not surprising that this country is the primary source of all streams for the year. Once you take that song off the board, however, the rest of the list is much more international. Here are the top 10 countries for streaming in 2025:

And when viewed on a map, you can see that Michael DeLuca Music really was streamed all over the world!
Looking Ahead to a Wonderful 2026
Whether you streamed a song on TikTok or Facebook or joined me in person for one of the twelve concerts I gave in 2025, thank you for being a part of this exciting journey. When I started releasing songs a few years ago, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine they would be listened to all over the world, and certainly not in numbers like this! It’s so exciting to see the response these songs have been getting, and I am truly grateful for your support.
